About the Bible

I hate the hype about the Bible of pseudo-intellectual atheists so much (e.g. Bert Brecht). The better parts of this compilation (history) are an extraordinarily weak copy of the ancient Semitic tales; most parts (like prophets) are just copies of Persian-Hellenistic vulgar philosophy (dualism). The only really interesting part is the collection of laws which can be found in the Pentateuch and reflects ancient society and mentality indeed. This law collection is probably the only part which is older than the 3rd/2nd century BC when the Jewish religion was invented by some Canaanite priests who labeled themselves as Hebrews now and needed some kind of narrative and ideological legitimation. The only reason why I read regularly in the Bible is because I love trash. I'm fascinated by mediocrity.
